Deriva CMS Adapalene & Clindamycin Acne Gel by Galderma is a combination topical acne treatment gel containing Adapalene and Clindamycin for the treatment of moderate to severe acne vulgaris. Combining a retinoid with a topical antibiotic provides superior efficacy to either ingredient alone while reducing antibiotic resistance risk.

Indications: Moderate to severe acne vulgaris with inflammatory and comedonal lesions. Acne requiring combination retinoid and antibiotic therapy. Patients seeking a single-product combination acne treatment. Acne unresponsive to single-agent topical treatments.

Key Ingredients: Adapalene 0.1% — third-generation synthetic retinoid that normalises follicular keratinisation, prevents comedone formation, and reduces inflammation with better tolerability than tretinoin. Clindamycin Phosphate 1% — topical antibiotic that inhibits Cutibacterium acnes protein synthesis, reducing bacterial colonisation and inflammation. How to Use: Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected areas once daily in the evening. Avoid the eye area. Always use SPF 50+ the following morning — adapalene increases photosensitivity. Allow 8–12 weeks for full therapeutic benefit.
